Issuance of the second volume of the Social Trends Magazine

The Department of Statistics (DOS), has issued the second volume of the "Social Trends in Jordan 2007"magazine.It is a quarterly bulletin specialized in social statistics and covers several themes linked to the daily life aspects of the citizens .It touches also important social issues such as crowdedness, medical insurance, poverty, illiteracy and people with special needs of the households members .The magazine sheds light too on another important issue, namely; crime trends.

Furthermore, the magazine contains numerous social statistical indicators that deserve further review, study and analysis, for identifying their causes , effects (both social and economic) and their helping role in policy making and decision taking through employing the statistical figures.
