International Cooperation

The Department of Statistics (DoS) maintains intense relationships with may statistical organizations and institutions all around the world.

It  continuously strives to strengthen these relations in order to upgrade the statistical work.

The DoS main partners include:

- Arab organizations, like the Arab league

- International organizations

        • United Nations (UN)

        • its specialized agencies

        • World Bank

        • Eurostat

        • MEDSTAT II statistical cooperation program between the European Union and the Mediterranean partners countries

The DoS has also privilegious bilateral relations with:

        • the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

        •  the GTZ

        • the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

        • the Norvegian foundation FAFO
